Semi-Permanent Make-Up

Semi-Permanent Make-Up is the use of pigmentation to enhance brows, eyes and lips to add definition. Giving you long-lasting (but not permanent) eyeliner, colour to the lips and contour, shape and colour to your eyebrows. This particular technique requires the correct training so make sure your chosen semi-permanent make-up artist is fully trained and qualified. Pigment is injected through a fine vibrating needle into the upper layer of the skin, also known as the epidermis. With this particular layer of skin, it is the layer of skin you can see which is constantly renewing itself and shedding.

Powder Brows
Powder Brows (sometimes also known as ombre brows or ombre powder brows). Creating a soft, powdered look that subtly fills in your brows to achieve that beautiful natural look. This particular method uses a pigment which is injected into the top layer of the skin, the epidermis; the layer which is visible to the eye.
As the epidermis is the upper layer of the skin, it constantly sheds and renews as cells turnover. Due to this process the pigment will fade over time thus why this treatment is only semi-permanent and NOT permanent (like a tattoo for example). As the pigment is used to create pixelated dots to mimic powder fill brows, we can assure you there is no place for harsh lines and ‘’boxy’’ eyebrow shapes here at ABA Agnes Beauty Atelier!
